The Aims of the ICTC Society

To enhance the quality of life of inhabitants of cities, towns & communities.

To assist cities, towns and communities to be as environmentally, socially & economically sustainable as possible.

To bring together the required visionary professionals to discuss the challenges of replacing sprawl with compact environmentally, socially and economically acceptable environments.

To facilitate world best practices in the planning, development and management of cities, towns and communities and particularly the planning, development and management of public spaces and infrastructure.

ICTC Society History

The ICTC Society had its origins as an unincorporated association in the mid 1990s and conferences were conducted in the following communities:-

Maryborough (Qld) 1995

Adelaide (SA) 1996

Albany (WA) 1997

Melbourne (Vic) 1999

Hobart (Tas) 2000.

The unincorporated association became a not for profit incorporated association (IA 31336) on the 25th of July 2002 and has since held conferences in the following host communities:-

Caloundra (Qld) 2002

Fremantle (WA) 2004

Yeppoon (Qld) 2005

Newcastle (NSW) 2006

North Shore City (NZ) 2007

Sydney Olympic Park (NSW) 2008

City of Greater Geelong (Vic) 2009
